AI Assistant on WhatsApp

Run your dealership from WhatsApp

Send a voice note from the car, a photo from the auction or a receipt from the forecourt, and the AI Assistant does the job in your Haswent DMS. Prices, costs, invoices, bookings and reports, without opening a laptop.

Voice notes and messages

Say what needs changing. Tap Confirm.

Type it or send a voice note: “knock the Fiesta down to £8,995”, “mark the Audi as sold”, “add a highlight about the new cambelt”. The assistant finds the car in your stock, shows you exactly what will change and waits for you to confirm.

  • Any vehicle detail: price, status, mileage, spec, condition and the advert text your website and feeds show
  • Heard back to you: every voice note is written out in the reply, so a misheard price is caught before anything changes
  • Nothing changes until you say so: every change comes as a preview with Confirm and Cancel buttons
Photos and number plates

Photograph a car. Know what it’s worth.

At an auction, on a trade-in or on someone’s drive, send a photo and the assistant reads the number plate, the make and model and, if you send the dashboard too, the mileage. It tells you whether the car is already in your stock and, with your AutoTrader connection, gets a valuation there and then.

  • Plate, vehicle and odometer: read from your photos, and said back to you before anything uses them
  • Retail, trade and part exchange values: and, for a car in stock, how the valuation compares with your price
  • Photos straight onto the car: add them to a vehicle in stock, or add a new car to stock with its photos
Receipts and costs

Every receipt on the right car, the day you pay it

Fuel, MOTs, valets, tyres and parts. Photograph the receipt, say which car it’s for and the assistant reads the supplier, date, VAT and total, then adds the cost to the car so your profit figures are right. Adding costs is for account admins, as it is in the DMS.

  • No more shoebox: each cost is also recorded as a paid purchase invoice
  • Or just say it: “I’ve put £20 of diesel in the Fiesta” works without a photo
  • Duplicates flagged: it warns you if the same cost is already on the car for that day
Invoices and payments

Invoice from the forecourt

Ask for an invoice to a customer, for a car in stock or anything else you sell, and the assistant shows you the lines and totals first. Confirm it and the invoice PDF arrives in the chat, ready to forward. Once it’s issued, you can ask for an open banking payment link too.

  • Your numbering, your layout: it’s a normal Haswent invoice, saved as a draft with the next invoice number
  • New customers added for you: give a name and a phone number or email and they go into your contacts
  • Chase what’s owed: ask “any unpaid invoices?” and see who owes what
Ask anything

Your numbers and your diary, one message away

How many did we sell last month? What’s been in stock longest? Any new enquiries today? The assistant answers from your real figures and tells you which dates they cover. It also books test drives into your diary and turns “remind me to…” into a task, so nothing you think of on the road gets forgotten.

More ways dealers use it

If you can do it in the DMS, there’s a good chance you can just ask.

Check your stock

“Have we still got the blue Golf?” Find any car by registration or description, with its price, status and days in stock.

Book viewings and test drives

Put a viewing, test drive or collection in the right diary, and hear about anything it clashes with before you confirm.

Jobs and reminders

“The Juke needs a new tyre.” Jobs become tasks on the car, and “remind me to…” becomes a task for you with a due date. Photos of the damage can go on the task.

Enquiries

See today’s new enquiries and where they came from, move an enquiry along your pipeline and add notes to the customer.

Appraisals and deals

Start an appraisal for a part exchange and send the customer their link when you are ready, or open a deal for a customer and a car.

Payment links

With Atoa open banking set up, ask for a payment link for a deposit on a deal or what’s left on an issued invoice, then forward it to your customer yourself.

MOT history

Look up any car’s MOT history, advisories and outstanding recalls while you are standing next to it, in stock or not.

Opening hours and website banner

Check each department’s opening hours (admins can change the weekly hours), and turn the banner on your website on or off with new wording.

Reports on the go

Sales, purchases, profit, VAT on margin, commission, aged stock, unpaid invoices and website visitors, for any period you name.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the Haswent AI Assistant.

It’s an assistant for your dealership that you talk to on WhatsApp. It works from your real Haswent data, so you can check stock, change prices, add costs, book appointments, raise invoices and ask about sales by text, voice note or photo, wherever you are.

No. It’s a WhatsApp chat on your own phone. Once we’ve switched the AI Assistant on for your dealership, you link your UK mobile number from your profile in the DMS with a six-digit code we send you on WhatsApp, and then you just message it.

No. Whenever you ask for a change, it replies with exactly what will change and Confirm and Cancel buttons. Nothing happens until you tap Confirm, and you get a message when it’s done.

It acts as you, using your own Haswent login, so it can only see and do what you can in the DMS. Reports such as profit and VAT are only there for people who can see reports, and vehicle costs and opening hours are for account admins, just as in the DMS.

Yes. Voice notes are written out and shown back to you, so a misheard price is caught before you confirm anything. From photos it reads number plates, the make and model, odometer readings and receipts (supplier, date, lines, VAT and total).

Only when you ask it to. For example, after starting an appraisal it asks whether to send the customer their link. Payment links come to you to forward yourself.

Valuations are shown in the chat for you to use, and your vehicle record stays as it is. AutoTrader valuations use your AutoTrader connection. CAP HPI valuations are charged in the same way as in the DMS, so the assistant only runs one when you ask for CAP.

Yes. It works with whatever is in your stock, so van, motorcycle and motorhome dealers can use it in the same way.
